The Library Garden
Visitors often use our display garden like a reference book, as all of our plants are clearly labelled. Although small, the garden is packed full of perennials, with areas planted up for both sun and shade, encompassing all the seasons from late winter through to autumn. Entrance to the garden is free, except on Charity Open Days and for group visits.

Garden Visits
For a small charge, we’re happy to arrange visits for garden clubs and societies. There is an introductory chat, garden viewing and the opportunity to ask questions about the plants and refreshments are included. Russell’s stunning Quarry Garden, on the same site, is also well worth a visit, especially in late spring, with a dazzling display of azaleas and rhododendrons.
For more details on garden visits, contact Di Cockcroft. Telephone: 01788 561650 or email: avondalenurseryvisits@gmail.com.
Other nurseries on-site offer a complementary range of plants.
